Add IFileSystem::createMemoryWriteFile() to allow writing to memory.
Replace CMemoryReadFile with CMemoryFile that also implement IWriteFile.
Add an IVideoDriver::writeImageToFile() overload that takes an IWriteFile.
This allows writing (e.g.) screenshots to memory, rather than directly to file.

New unit test added to test the new functionality.  Tested on Windows with VS2005 and C::B. I'll do Linux ASAP.

Rogerborg 94a1346a5c Adding an optional light manager that allows hardware lights to be turned on and off before each scene node is rendered. This can be used to produce "zoned" lighting.
If a light manager is not registered, the existing behaviour (activate the closest lights to the camera) will be retained unchanged.  New example project added to demonstrate the usage, and regression tests and existing samples run.  No regression test for the light manager yet, since I am more interested in not regressing the default behaviour.

hybrid d42ce61775 Added a check method to query the device reset event for D3D drivers. Since in the case of a reset the content of all RTTs are lost, it's required to become aware of this fact.
The current solution is just a simply check which works with lots about the drivers. A cleaner solution would return all structures which have to be regenerated. A new enum is already created for this reason, but not yet implemented. However, the interface of the new checkDriverReset method might change in the near future...

hybrid 01a0042f91 Moved windowId and sourceRect parameters from endScene to beginScene in order to support several windows for OpenGL as well. This is not yet implemented, though, just made some preparations.

lukeph 341dc16566 -added support for 32bit buffers in the opengl and directx9 drivers :) hopefully not buggy...
(may need to add support for directx8 and software?)

-made terrainNode use DynamicMeshBuffer, so it can use 32bit buffers. (no more size limits now on terrains!!! )
if the terrainNode loads an image over 256x256, it is set to 32bit, smaller sizes will use 16bit for better speed.

lukeph e903f2ca6b -Made drivers update vertex and index VBOs independently. Massive speed up for terrain nodes. Interface isn’t so clean yet, but will be when vertex and index buffers are separated.
-fixed a rendering state bug, in openGL and directx drivers, while changing from 3d to 2d rendering.

lukeph 2ca8282e00 -- added VBO support --
-so far only the openGL driver is supported, will add dx tomorrow or the next day

-right now to use, go: MeshBuffer->setHardwareMappingHint(EHM_STATIC); but this will be automatic when complete

-code needs a clean up, and the design isn't fixed, I just wanted to get stuff happening :)

-works well with hardware skinning :)

hybrid 2dc1051124 Added a name parameter to render target textures just as for usual textures.
Exposed findTexture in IVideoDriver to check if a texture was already loaded.
Reordered some more OpenGL render state settings in the materials.

hybrid 5180ee88e6 Enhanced documentation for isFrontFacing to make it safer to use. Fixed frustum culling to correctly handle all possible cases of box intersections. Replaced isFrontFacing by classifyPointRelation as suggested by vitek. Minor cleanups in some classes.
