Minetest Core
Author : Austin Pachano (SonosFuer) Liscense : MIT The purpose of minetest_core is to create an alternative to minetest_game that is easier to develop content on top of. It offers an extended api available in game_api.txt that allows for easy creation of content such as ores and trees.
Installation
Unzip minetest_core into minetest/games/

Frameworks
This subgame is broken into separate frameworks based off their function. All frameworks are intended to be an api for mods to use but not actually provide any content if possible.
Biomes
Handles biomes in the game biome_lib is currently being used https://github.com/minetest-mods/biome_lib
Agriculture
A basic framework for adding plants to the game -Cross Breeding?

Some mod to provide good mod support until the engine supports it. Currently using mobs_redo [https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9917&hilit=mobs_redo] Could consider
