9ac5d02bed Revert the GNUmakefile to compile, by default, using system-dependecies. This makes it easier for developers rather than packagers. Associated changes to not break packaging build rules.

481fa388de - refactored player witchspace jumps. Hopefully didn't break anything. 
- fix: player shipLostTarget event should now fire at all relevant times.
- fix: overlapping systems, appearing at the same map coordinates, should now be individually selectable. Tested on the short range map with Divees & Tezabi in galaxy 5.
- new: ship.exitSystem([systemID]) if systemID is specified, the ship will try to hyperspace to that system, otherwise it will try to hyperspace to a random system in range. Returns false if the jump cannot be made - system(s) not in range, mass blocked, etc...
- windows menu shortcuts: renamed 'Installed OXPs' to 'Extension Packs'.

812da41e94 GNUmakefile eSpeak distinct handling for build: 
oolite Linux with system libs (a.k.a. distro-release)
	oolite Linux with packaged libs
	oolite Windows

Updated apspec files and oolite.src to handle the new espeak-data location

Added script to generate shared libraries linker names when 
autopackaged oolite is needed. ([x86, x86_64]/lib_linker/make_so.links.sh)

Linux oolite header files cleanup.

6761ad3af9 Windows installer update: 
- Added shortcuts to the AddOns, Logs & snapshot folders.
 - viewing readme file now made optional.
 - Oolite now launches automatically after installation (and after the user finishes reading the readme file, if selected).

de60dba4e3 Transparent linux-x86, linux-x86_64 build and autopackage-packaging with 
new Linux-deps folder (ready for distro independent build) and 
updated Makefile, GNUmakefile and autopackage apspec files

Speech support with eSpeak compiled using PulseAudio instead of the default PortAudio.
(Smoother inter-distro speech execution when eSpeak does not use PortAudio)

Fixed oolite-update to include itself during updates

Fixed oolite wrapper-scripts not passing command line arguments to oolite executable

Updated Linux README.TXT, PLAYING.TXT files

Dependency libraries updates:
   gnustep-base-1.18 - VSync issue addressed (noticed on nVidia cards). Fixed the tearing issue enabling smooth video scrolling.

   eSpeak-1.43.03 - Supports klat voices

8daffbadfb Added the general changelog file in the documentation folder (changes for 1.73 need to be inserted). Modified the Windows installer script so that the changelog gets installed in the root Oolite folder for official builds. The changelog does not get installed for the snapshots.

e878f37f69 Added the Acrobat PDF and MSWord versions of the proposed common OoliteReadMe in the documentation. Modified Windows installer script to create shortcut for the PDF instead of the txt version of the OoliteReadMe and to create a shortcut for Advice for New Commanders in the Start menu Oolite group.

722b229202 Added watermark text for the snapshot versions. Currently working on Windows. The idea is to use the snapshot releases for things like nightly builds or distributions of the game other than the official ones. Updated the readme of the Windows version to reflect current project situation.

f4548031bb Fixed crash when max_missiles is set to higher than maximum allowed (16). Modified the Win32 installer to default to the C:\Oolite folder, instead of C:\Program Files\Oolite, hopefully solving the problems with default installation location on Windows Vista.

f1014cae40 Fixed a bug where escorts belonging to traders would be assigned to the stations launching them. Commented out the code that caused the cloaking device to charge up the energy banks upon switching it off (thanks Screet). Unless there is a justification for this behaviour, I believe this code can be removed. Updated the Reference Sheet to the latest, corrected version.

4d0fd3267c The Windows executable now sets itself up when starting, making the RunOolite.bat file obsolete. Also, no more console window appears on Windows when starting the game. Modified installer script as required.

0a1117ba8e Replace SDL.dll with a stripped version for distribution. Upgrade the installer script to modern interface and add confirmation dialog for the uninstaller. Remove DTDs installation for the Windows build, since the gnustep-base-1_15.dll is already built to not require them. Tweak a little the installer so that it does not fail with some versions of NSIS (such as mine ;-) ).

d9e11be684 Tweaked missile accuracy so that it is handled in a saner way than before. Valid values for accuracy of missiles are now from 0.0 to 10.0, as one would expect and m.a. is clamped to this range at entity initialization. Also updated the date strings appearing in the game to reflect new year change.
