Description

The Evolving Pickaxe Mod introduces a unique set of pickaxes that evolve and improve as you use them. Starting from a basic wooden pickaxe, your tool can level up to stone, iron, diamond, and finally netherite, gaining enhancements and enchantments along the way.

Features

• Evolving Pickaxes:

  • Wooden pickaxe evolves to stone, iron, diamond, and netherite.
  • Each level offers better capabilities and enchantments.

• Experience System:

  • Pickaxes gain experience based on usage.
  • Levels are calculated using a formula based on the XP multiplier and counter.

• Enchantments:

  • Pickaxes automatically gain enchantments at specific levels (Efficiency, Fortune).
  • Enchantments are applied progressively as the pickaxe levels up.

• Modifier Block:

  • A special block for admins to modify the counter (experience) of any evolving pickaxe.
  • Allows manual adjustment of pickaxe experience for testing or administrative purposes.

• Heart of the Pickaxe:

  • A special item required to craft the initial evolving pickaxe.
  • Crafted using diamonds and a netherite ingot.

Levels and Enchantments

Pickaxes must reach level 100 to evolve to the next tier.

XP Multipliers

• Wooden Pickaxe: 1.0
• Stone Pickaxe: 0.5
• Iron Pickaxe: 0.1
• Diamond Pickaxe: 0.02
• Netherite Pickaxe: 0.005

Enchantment Levels

• Level 15: Efficiency 1
• Level 25: Efficiency 2
• Level 50: Efficiency 3
• Level 75: Efficiency 4
• Level 85: Efficiency 5

Usage

• Right-Click: Check the current level and block broken count of the pickaxe.
• Admin Block: Modify the experience counter of the pickaxe.

Installation

1. Download the mod files.
2. Place the mod folder in your Minetest mods directory.
3. Enable the mod in your Minetest world configuration.
