Reverting this until we do more investigation. Currently, any text
that can be typed in a dialog requires the dialog to re-enable hotkeys
on destruction, which is frustrating. There has to be a better way.
Disable hotkeys when a user starts an interaction with the UI where they
are expected to type text and re-enable hotkeys when the interaction is
completed.
New profile state is similar to first start: settings are wiped, encoders
not setup. It may make sense to show the auto configuration wizard when
a new profile is made as well.
There is a checkbox option to show the wizard. If a profile is created
with the checkbox off, the checkbox will remain defaulted to off next
prompt.
As the names entered into this dialog can be used as part of file names
(for example, saving a scene collection), allowing long names can result
in silent data loss where OBS creates the collection and allows the user
to manipulate it, but it cannot be saved on exit. This is due to the
MAX_PATH limitation on Windows (260 characters). 170 was chosen to
accomodate the length of the user app data folder plus some room for
extensions like .json.tmp.
Code submissions have continually suffered from formatting
inconsistencies that constantly have to be addressed. Using
clang-format simplifies this by making code formatting more consistent,
and allows automation of the code formatting so that maintainers can
focus more on the code itself instead of code formatting.
