${tool}_start was called from within `config/default_exp', but this
proves to be error-prone, because DejaGnu isn't fully initialized at
that point, causing an error when calling one of the DejaGnu methods
pass/fail/unsupported/xfail/unresolved/untested:
can't read "multipass_name": no such variable
The right way seems to be calling ${tool}_start() from
${tool}_init().
Code in `unit_start()' and `completion_start()' is merged and put central in
lib/library.exp:
- start_bash()
- source_bash_completion()
- init_tcl_bash_globals()
Global string variable `bash_versinfo_0' is replaced with list variable
`BASH_VERSINFO'.
Using option `--tool_exec' you can now specify which bash binary you
want to use:
$ ./runUnit --tool_exec /opt/bash-4/bin/bash
$ ./runCompletion --tool_exec /opt/bash-4/bin/bash
If not specified, current `bash' as found in the tcl path (/bin/bash)
will be used.
Bash < 3.2.41 has a bug where 'history' disappears from SHELLOPTS
whenever a shopt setting is sourced or eval'ed. Disabling 'history'
makes it not show in tests "Environment should not be modified"
for bash < 3.2.41.
Added helper function `is_bash_version_minimal()' to
test/lib/library.sh.
